I've studied French since the sixth grade. I have always wanted to visit, especially Paris. My major is Secondary Education; minor is French. I was presented with the opportunity to go for 9 months to Versailles (city just oustide of Paris) to teach French high school students English. It puts off an already tardy graduation (been in and out of school since '98) but I couldn't say no. I plan on visitng every country in Europe, Russia, and parts of Asia while I am there.

My sister spent a year of her college career in Trier, Germany. She absolutely loved it. During her senior year at Clemson, she spent the entire year obtaining a Fulbright grant/ scholarship to go back to Germany. She was one of only a handful of people in the country to get this award. She spent another year doing what she wanted in Cologne, Germany. Ever since she left the first time she's been bugging me to go. She's certainly the smartest person I've ever met, so who am I to say no?
